Bought in Italy. Can’t find the jeweler’s stamp (even with a magnifying glass), but it is Italian gold- which is usually 14 or 18K. You can tell a Casting (the lost-wax) method was used to make this piece because of the edging. Casting, is widely used for more intricate and detailed pieces. This involves creating a wax model, encasing it in a mold, melting out the wax, and then pouring molten gold into the cavity- you get molded edges. This is a very petite piece for a child.
