Rare and Stunning 1940s WWII Era Pinup Romper Shorts/Wrap Skirt Set/Miss Quality

Rare and stunning describes this amazing set so perfectly. So beautifully iconic in its WWII Pinup Girl look, this lightweight gray cotton romper has an amazing peek-a-boo midriff, built to look like a two-piece short set but is actually a clever one-piece ensemble which also includes a versatile wrap skirt. A gorgeous and vibrant tropical floral print a multi-colored palette. The bodice is fully lined as if reversible but is not. A fanciful pleated ruffle adorns the bodice and shorts pockets. The shorts are very full and vented and have a built in flirty pleated ruffled tap pants as a built in lining. The romper has side ties that tie in the back with back metal zipper. This playful outfit is finished with a ruched wrap skirt that actually does not fully close in the front. Condition is excellent. Theres a couple very faint and tiny rust spots on the back of the skirt (see pics). Measurements are: Waist-29, Bust-36, Hips-38, Shoulders-15, Length of Bodice-16, Length of Skirt-32.
