True Vintage 1950s-1960s Cotton Organdy Embroidered Pencil Dress by McArthur Ltd

This is such a striking dress from the cusp period of the late 1950s-early 1960s, where influences of both decades merge. In cool and comfy white cotton blend organdy beautifully embroidered in shimmering pink, blue, yellow and dark green. A wiggle-when-ya-walk pencil skirt is attached to a fitted bodice with deep portrait neckline and gorgeous dramatic bubble sleeves. The lining of the sleeve fits the arm (see detail) so the sleeve naturally bubbles. Condition is very good with original belt and side metal zipper. So very clean like never worn, but there is a line of dark green embroidery missing on the skirt (please see pics). Measurements are: waist-28, bust-36, hips-38, shoulders-15-16, bodice lenght-15 and dress length-45.
