Original Apple iPod 1st Generation (Model M8541, EMC 1907) from 2001 with iconic mechanical scroll wheel and FireWire port. This 5GB model holds approx. 1,000 songs and includes the matching vintage Apple FireWire power adapter (Model A1070) and FireWire cable.
The unit powers on and functions—screen, scroll, and menu navigation all work. However, the battery dies quickly after unplugging and will need replacement. Due to this, it is being sold as-is, for parts or repair.
Cosmetic wear is heavy with visible scratching across front, screen, and chrome back—see detailed photos. Still a legendary piece of Apple history, perfect for collectors or restoration.
