Issued to salute the eleventh International Botanical Congress, this block of four stamps, originally issued attached, was the first set of stamps devoted to flora from each of the four corners of the United States. They were also the first to include Latin names.
The product is a block of Scott #1376 - 79 Botanical Congress, 1969 US 6c Block Stamps. These stamps have a face value of $0.24 and are in a mint never hinged quality with a very fine to extremely fine grade. The stamps feature a multi-color design depicting flowers, and were issued in the United States between 1961-1970. They are a perfect addition for collectors interested in United States stamps with a botanical theme.
