Rare 1968 Great Space Hopper hop ball

Made in England circa 1968. Larger than the more common orange one, this rare blue hopper inflates to 23" diameter (72" around). Advertising indicates it was intended for teens and adults (but to be safe, we must assume that this meant adults of average weight in the 1960s, not in 2025).

The ball has the expected cosmetic wear from over 50 years of age and use (surface scuffs and shallow scrapes) but the heavy vinyl is still very flexible and it holds air perfectly with no leaks. It has received a few coats of liquid vinyl restore to help bring back some of the color and maintain flexibility.

Will ship deflated. Note that it has an old style air plug that requires a rare type of British inflation needle. But if you carefully remove the plug with needle nose pliers, the ball inflates quickly with a standard nozzle pump or compressor.

If inflated to no more than the size mentioned above, and if used only indoors or on grass, it should last for many more years.
