WWII Battleship USS Texas BB-35 Original Rare 1911 Teak Wood Display

For sale is an 8X10 framed display with two 4X6 matted areas, one features a photo of the USS Texas, the other card features a small piece of original wood from the USS Texas similar to the one pictured. The wood is original 1911 teak wood, not the 1990s wood you often see, far harder to get. The Texas was a World War I era New York Class battleship that served through WWII until 1948 earning 5 battle stars. She is most famous for taking in water during D-Day to elevate her guns during the battle. Currently, she is a museum under restoration. The wood was removed from her during restoration. Once the wood was acquired, I cut it down keeping part for myself and making these. The display includes a letter of authenticity as well as a copy of the COA from the museum.
