This pretty brown speckled stoneware pottery honey pot would great in a rustic farmhouse decor. It features a design of a man riding a horse carriage with a covered bridge in the background. It comes with a slotted lid which fits the wooden honey stick. Great pre-owned condition, no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 3.25 (without lid) tall and 2.5” across.
Onion River Pottery was started by a Frank Goss in 1946 and then he moved the family owned business to Vermont in 1966. The name Winooski is an Abenaki Indian word meaning “onion” or “leek” which grew in the wild during settler days.
