Medium large size hand painted Christmas card holder. My grandmother painted this and it has been in our family for about 60 years. The jacket is vibrant shiny red. The beard is a flat paint that has significantly discolored over time. There is some dusty crud around his jacket trim. I did not try to clean this because I was sure how and didn't want the paint to come off. It seems as if it's been kiln fired, at least for the jacket and card bag. There are no cracks or chips that I could see. He is an Atlantic Mold piece.
