Vintage Paden City 12 1/2" Crystal Clear NERVA Handle Etched Cut Round Footed Platter 1930's
So much detail from the handles to the middle rim and etching on the outer rim.
In Lovely condition with no chips or cracks, there are a few, very hard to see utensil marks.
Approx: 11" from side to side & 12 1/2" from handle to handle x 1 1/4" t weighing 2 Pounds.
A Bit of History: The Paden City Glass Manufacturing Company was founded in 1916 in Paden City, West Virginia and focused on creating blank, hand-blown and hand-pressed wares, which they sold to other companies that decorated their glassware.
The company's operations were highly successful, and they even purchased the American Glass Company.
The additional financial burden of their expansion led to the company's closure in 1951.
Paden City glassware is now highly sought after by collectors, known for its quality, patterns, and colors
