Bailey Walker, Bedford, Luxor Ivory 13.5” Oval Platter with a “Pink Willow” Pattern made in Bedford, Ohio. Beautiful design with a white embossed rim.
The “Willow love story" is in the center, including elements like love birds and a pagoda. Homer Laughlin began “Willow”production from 1934-1964.
While Bailey Walker produced various types of china, the specific "Pink Willow" or "Red Willow" pattern shown in the image is more widely recognized as a product of companies like Homer Laughlin, Churchill, or Royal China, which are well-known for their Willow Ware variations. Probably came from 1970s.
Founded in Bedford, Ohio, in the early 1920s by Albert Walker and Henry Bailey, this company specialized in dishware for the hospitality industry and later became the Walker China Company.
A rare find, the platter is stamped with the Walker brand logo, a symbol of high quality. Excellent condition.
