Signed by Hopi artist Timothy Tungovia & dated 2001, this long haired "Turtle Kachina" is hand-carved using the traditional cottonwood root and in immaculate condition.
The Tungovia family is well known for their craftsmanship and artistry, and this piece is no different featuring intricate carved areas and bright paint.
Tungovia Hopi Kachina's normally sell for around $400, so my $250 asking price is a great savings! The piece is signed & dated on the base.
