This is a beautiful vintage sculpture by Andersen Design pottery. Approx. Dimensions: 7 inches long; 3 inches tall; 3.25 inches wide (at widest point). This seal pup has a beautiful matte gray glaze with brown accents swirled throughout... and who can resist those eyes (see photos).
Andersen Design Ceramics Studio Baby Seal Figurine, Boothbay, Maine. The company was founded by Weston Neil Andersen in 1952.. The Seal is in good condition with one small chip on the front right foot (see last photo). It has good color and is nicely decorated. It is marked on the bottom AD for Andersen Design.
