Andersen Design Studio Pottery from Maine. This particular goose is facing to the left with a blue gray glaze. The studio closed permanently several years ago, making this piece a unique offering. The goose is slip cast on red stoneware, and the tips of the carved feathers are brushed with ebony glaze. It is signed by the studio on the base hidden by the felt.
Approx. Dimensions: 6.5 inches long; 4.5 inches tall; 2.75 inches wide (at widest point).
Condition: Very good. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. The felt on the base of the goose is still intact.
