Red Roses & Buds, Scalloped, Gold Trim 10 1/2” across. This plate was used extensively- but there are no chips, cracks or repairs, The gold edging is gone, All the greenery is gone- BUT here it is.
History of the Chodziez faience factory starts in 1852 or 1854 when Hermann Müller and Ludwik Schnorr bought a burnt building of the Grudzinski castle from count Koenigsmarck. The castle building is still in possession of the company. In 1991 semi vitreous porcelain branch stopped production.
Backstamp period: 1947 - 1991 color: brown
