This faience, or tin-glazed, serving dish was made in Germany in the early to mid 20th century. It's decorated with hand painted flowers, buds and leaves with a painted rim and handle. The dish has two parts with the handle in the center. The backstamp reads, "(crown) /(flower or wheel) /Celebrate /Germany" and another mark, "Dekor 596". The dish measures 8½ in. long x 5½ in. wide x 1 in. deep. In good condition with 3 small glaze nicks on the edge (see photo #1). These are not chips in the pottery, but in the glaze. This condition is reflected in the price.
