Antique RS Prussia Porcelain Footed Bowl Scalloped Edge Gardenia Gold Rim drops,

Original RS Prussia designed & hand crafted decorative berry/ nut bowl, artisan painted. A fine piece of European maker's mark of Reinhold Schegelmilch Porcelain Factory and Decorating Studios on the bottom. Excellent condition, Remarkable vintage state. The minute details in the delicate Gardenia designs & the vibrancy in the verdant green, & the gold balls lining the scalloped edge were all hand painted on this small serving bowl over 100 years ago, and the painted color is still vibrant & the delicate feathered lines of the gardenia are still clear.

Gorgeous design, the bowl's shape is exquisite, a special creation. The shape of the fine porcelain bowl reveals the transitional stages in Art Nouveau from flowing ruffles toward more geometric. This scalloped edge is different & flows from curved to a point with circular gold balls topping the edges, so the coming influence of the Art Deco style is seen in this transitional design. A very fine porcelain china serving/ display bowl that will delight the eyes.
