Ah! The golden era of seafood dining at the Spanish Galleon Seafood Tavern Restaurant in San Antonio! The Texas restaurant chain of 4 (Dallas, Ft. Worth, Houston & San Antonio) looked like an authentic SPANISH GALLEON!! I think there might have been a Whales mouth at the entrance! Dating back to the 1960s-1970s, matchbooks were given out to patrons of a restaurant but now so many years later, they have become a tangible piece of history, hailing from a time when the sea's bounty was the star of the show & everybody of course pretty much smoked!
