A Kyusu style Chinese teapot, often used for brewing traditional Chinese herbal medicines and teas. The pot is made in the Kyusu style that is hallmarked by the spout and handle being on the same side. This rounded pot has a natural unglazed base with a dark brown glossy glaze on the interior of the lid, the top one-fifth of the item, and the interior of the pot. In good condition but has definitely been well used and well loved.
This will only work on gas or element stove as it is clay. It would be a great piece for a tea enthusiast or someone who makes their own herbal remedies/concoctions. Dimensions: The lid is 5.25" diameter, pot 7" diameter at the widest point, 8.5" or 9" including the spout or handle. The bottom is 4.5" diameter. 6.25" tall.
