Vintage Pair of Bitossi Style Piume Multicolore Vases

This is a pair of vintage Bitossi-style Piume Multicolore vases. These have been appraised and are believed to be a good early reproduction. From the appraisal: "A pair of vintage Bitossi style Piume Multicolore vases, design attributed to Aldo Londi, circa 1960s. Each of the circular sections and tapering ovoid form, the white body of each with colorful feather design, signed underneath "V225/21 /Italy." Each 8-1/2 inches tall, greatest diameter: 3-1/2 inches. CONDITION: With some wear and minor chip loss to glaze at lip of one vase. While the original production of the Piume Multicolore line was limited to the 1950s, its distinctive aesthetic has led to continued interest among collectors and enthusiasts of mid-century Italian ceramics. Some pieces from this series have been reissued or remain available through vintage and antique dealers. Suggested Asking Price $400."
