Purchased for a family member who was supposed to come back home for end of life care, however, sadly, they passed on before they were even able to return home and so this is a never used item. Mattress is made by Drive & is adjustable for firmer or a softer mattress. Like a sleep number mattress. The adjustable frame lifts head, lumbar and feet. Also included are bed rails which are optional and also head and foot boards. Also the mattress has a cpr function so that if your loved one has an emergency they require cpr the mattress can immediately release any air to prevent any give on the bed which can hinder effectiveness during cpr. Attached remote control that clips onto the headboard for adjusting the base position and the mattress firmness/cushiness. - mattress is made by Drive and the base/ head & footboard and rails by med line.
