4. I purchased this seat from someone whose child was on the spectrum and could not tolerate harness pads. So she cut them off and tossed them. (Please see picture 4) - it does not impact harness function. However, uppababy does not sell replacement harness covers. You’d have to buy an entire new seat fabric. (For $100) If you happen to find replacements on Mercari or eBay etc, you can remove the harness to slide them on and reassemble- pictures 5 and 6.
