I call these RARE because I cannot find them anywhere online. I asked a couple of ladies well versed in porcelain dolls and they are not sure either. I do know that my mother acquired these while we were in Germany. I don't know anything else for sure about them. They resemble both Effanbee and Hummel dolls of the same time period (early 1980's) but they have no markings other than their names. They are both 12" tall and both head and arms are string jointed. Christy's head has come loose. Otherwise, they are in wonderful and complete condition.
