This antique lock plate and knob was removed from a bungalow on the Jersey Shore, built in the 1800s. The house had to be demolished after Sandy. There is no key unfortunately. This was used on a closet door so I am not sure the lock was even used. Please scan pictures for detail. Imprint is “Sargent” and “Made in the USA”.
The plate and knob are attached to a wooden cutout of the door. Total area of the piece is 8 1/2” by 6 1/2”. The plate itself is 3” by 4”. The wooden door was solid wood. If more details are needed, please message me.
