Recently, funds were deducted from my seller account to cover additional shipping cost WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION. The item was listed $85, weight 4.6 lbs. Mercari generated a label for $9.99. ONE WEEK AFTER THE SALE I receive communication that I'd been charge $108 for a 33 lb package. I WAS NOT CONTACTED TO APPROVE THIS TRANSACTION, I WAS NOT INVOLVED IN THE DECISION TO GO AHEAD WITH THE OVERCHARGE. Mercari refused to reverse the charge and instead has referred me to their legal dept. This lack of accountability is unacceptable. As a result, I will no longer be using this platform and I suggest you DO NOT SHOP/SELL ON HERE!!!!
