This item recreates the M-47 field jacket and Type2 denim jacket from ALMW BY WAIPER's perspective.

The fabric is WAIPER's original denim made from American Supima cotton extra-long staple cotton. Normally, extra-long staple cotton is used to weave a beautiful, light-ounce fabric, but this denim is intentionally woven in Okayama Prefecture, the denim mecca, at a solid 14oz weight. The surface has a luster, and you can enjoy beautiful aging as you wear it. It offers a soft and supple feel unique to Supima cotton.

From the M-47 jacket, the chin strap and sleeve straps are incorporated, achieving a design not seen in regular denim jackets. The double flap pockets and center pleats seen in Type2 are adopted, and the pocket position is lowered compared to the usual, making it easier to take things in and out. Also, an inner pocket, rarely seen in denim jackets, is placed, convenient for storing small items like smartphones and keychains. The back incorporates a T-back specification, while the waist has button adjusters for a clean design.

The box silhouette goes well with vintage items and modern sweatshirts, and you can experience a very soft feel even though it's rigid. This is a denim you'll want to break in from its rigid state.
