This listing features a rare set of vintage 1997 KeyCite Demonstration Disks specifically created for law students by West Publishing Company (now part of Thomson Reuters). The set includes both Disk 1 and Disk 2, making it a complete demonstration package of this important legal research tool from the late 1990s.
These 3.5" floppy disks were developed using Macromedia software (as noted by the "Made with Macromedia" logo) and represent an important transition period in legal research as traditional law libraries began moving toward digital resources. KeyCite was West's citation research system, which would eventually become a cornerstone of their Westlaw legal research platform.
