I believe these were give-aways from Redken if you bought a certain amount of products. It feels like leather but there's no material tag so I'm not claiming it is. It's really well made, however, with a plastic interior to protect the "leather" from spillage. It's a perfect size if you don't want to take a lot of stuff. The little pocket is also plastic lined and has room for money, cards etc. The only flaw that I can see is that the zipper along the strap is stuck, which is why I'm rating it "fair".
