This particular version is marked ©1962, 1968 Fisher-Price Toys, Inc. East Aurora, N.Y., making it a true mid-century classic. Model number 998, this educational toy was designed to help children learn how to tell time while playing cheerful music.

The front features bright, colorful graphics with a happy sun and moon scene that changes as the clock hands move. When wound, the music box plays the classic tune Grandfather’s Clock. The back showcases whimsical illustrations of children at different times of day, paired with a bold yellow winding knob marked “TURN.”
