Batteries, chargers, DC adapters, and AV cables are not included.
The VW-VBD140 battery is compatible, among others.
The AC-VSK0676 charger is compatible, among others.
These are readily available on flea markets, auctions, etc.
The exterior has minor scratches due to age, but there are no particularly noticeable scratches.
The LCD screen has some internal degradation, but the image is displayed, so the impact is minimal.
The viewfinder displays a clear image (image 13).
The lens is clear with no scratches or dust.
This product has been tested with a DC adapter and MiniDV tape, and the following functions have been confirmed: recording, playback, rewind/fast forward, and external output to a TV.
Still image saving to an SD card has also been confirmed.
Image 15 shows a video recorded with this video camera being played back and output to a TV via an AV cable.
Sound is also output, so dubbing is not a problem.
Playback of old MiniDV tapes has also been confirmed.
