Vintage SET of 3 Federal Glass 'Sportsman' 12 oz Game Bird Pilsner Glasses
GUC - No chips or cracks. Abrasions to the glass and some wear to the silver rims. Black screened images in great condition.
Federal Glass Company was launched in 1900 and operated until the late 1970s. The 'Sportsman' series was sold in the 1960s and featured colorless glassware with silver rims. Each of the four glasses released depicted, in black, a game bird, with the name of the bird in script below the image.
The birds included in this set of 3 glasses are the Ring-Necked Pheasant, the Canada Goose and the Canvasback. It does not include the grouse.
These nostalgic highboy glasses are a great addition to your home bar or cabin and make a unique presentation when serving cocktails, beer, iced tea or lemonade is served.
