Substance on front (could not remove, does not affect function), light scuffs to body, lens and view finder are clean and clear. Inside is clean as well as battery compartment. Tested with 2 AA batteries (not included) and camera functions. However the battery cover is a bit loose and power will cut out sometimes if it does not hold. Not sure if something broke but it may need taped shut to avoid shutting off. That is the main malfunction but it works otherwise.
