Early Korean War Production.
This is an extremely well preserved US Military M-1947 Fishtail Parka, manufactured in June 1951, 1947 Pattern on tag, non-removeable hood, with many of the loose threads from manufacturing still intact. Original lining in extremely good condition. Size Medium, 24" pit to pit, 39" shoulder to hem, olive drab cotton/nylon shell, original shearling liner, in nearly like new condition with minor fading and a tear near the bottom, as pictured. Button slits by hood snap and pocket, water-repellent, flap pockets, leather drawstrings, model 6ft 175 lbs.
