Beautiful Turks & Caicos Island Doll
• I bought this 10 years ago in Turks & Caicos from a small shop, from the nicest woman. She took a few dollars off because there is a tiny chip/discoloration on the dolls nose. (See photo 2). It doesn't take away from her beautiful face though!
• She has a very sturdy cloth body, hands, and feet, and a porcelain head. She has painted eyes, lashes, and eyebrows, as well as her lips, blush, and bangs.
• Her handmade dress is royal blue, patterned with soccer balls, stars, and pink and green bubbles. The dress is trimmed with white lace on the hem & cuffs, as well as on the bodice as a sort of apron. The lace has an orange ribbon with Turks & Caicos handwritten on it. She has a matching headscarf trimmed with an orange ribbon bow in the front. She also has beaded earrings
