The Awki-awki (AUQUI-AUQUI) dance is an Aymara musical expression of pre-Hispanic origin where the ritual of evocation of the Achachilas is celebrated. Currently it is danced in Puerto Acosta of the Camacho province. It is a ceremonial dance that before the conquest was practiced by the authorities and elderly people who were chosen to perform the dance.
