1979 orange Hot Wheels "Flat Out 442" from "The Hot Ones" series. This die-cast toy car, a model of the Oldsmobile Cutlass 442, features black trim, a black hood scoop, and "The Hot Ones" wheels, which were designed for speed. The "Flat Out 442" was introduced in 1979 and was also available in the Criss-Cross Crash set and the Hot Wheels board game. "The Hot Ones" series, originally released in 1981, was known for its new wheel and axle design, marketed as the "FASTEST NON-POWERED METAL CARS!". The series was revived in 2011 and continues to be produced in 2025.
