This is a collector's piece or museum quality it's so uniquely clean it really is a display piece. Rubber is good, not even any sun fading.

DO NOT BOUNCE ON UNTIL YOU ADD a bit more air before first use UNTIL FIRM AT 18 " DIAMETER or 36". Use a tailor tape measure. It is in great shape to be played with for a long time if Like any toy new and especially 60 years old, treat it with common sense, appreciation of its age - respect and it'll serve you well for a long time, for both play and display. If it gets dirty, use a cleaner specifically for rubber or mild dish soap.
So not just necessarily for display (when it is super full with air it won't sit up straight for display...because it is a circle. In that case leave it as I'm sending it to you.
