Very rare 1953 Walt Disney Productions Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs School Bag. Made by National Leather Manufacturing Company, model No. WD 32.
Fair preowned vintage condition. . Pocket with leather design of Snow White image on it has hole/rip in bottom as pictured. Appears like paint drops are on back (did not try to remove). Some discoloration and fading at various locations on bag. Leather seams in need of repair/have come away from fabric at various points. Some rusting on/around metal pieces.
There is a hard plastic (bakelite?) handle attached at the top, 2 leather straps that buckle to close the bag, a leather pencil case section, and a bigger snap shut section. Snow White, the Dwarfs, animals, trees & castle are beautifully designed on the leather flap. This bag measures approximately 13.25" wide x 11.5” tall to top of handle, and about 1-1/2" thick (see photos for measurements).
