To reset the combination on a Kryptonite KryptoFlex Combo Cable Lock, follow these steps:
1. Open the lock:
Align the dials to the current combination (factory preset is often 0005, but 0000 may also work) and pull out the lock post.
2. Engage reset mode:
With the lock post pulled out and the reset dial (or collar) facing right, turn it one-quarter turn clockwise until it stops.
3. Set new combination:
While in reset mode, rotate each dial to your desired new combination, ensuring the numbers are fully aligned with the guide points.
4. Disengage reset mode:
Turn the reset dial one-quarter turn counterclockwise back to its original position.
5. Verify and secure:
Test the new combination to ensure it works correctly. Insert the lock post back into the locking port and scramble the dials to secure the lock.
