The 2007 financial empowerment tour featured a panel discussion with the group’s Co-Chair and music industry icon, Russell Simmons, along with hip-hop artists and financial specialists. The “Get Your Money Right” workbook is a centerpiece of the program.
The Hip-Hop Summit Action Network, along with sponsors Chrysler Financial and Anheuser-Busch, kicked off the 2007 tour at Texas Southern University in Houston on March 3, 2007.
The agenda focused on the basics of banking, repairing & understanding credit scores, asset & wealth management, vehicle financing & home ownership. Workbook here in English and Spanish.
