This is a salesman sample Queen Anne highboy mahogany chest. It appears to be a salesman sample, apprentice piece, or antique doll furniture, I am not sure, but it’s very beautiful and rare for collectors. It is absolutely stunning to see a highboy this size!!! It’s very rare and hard to find!!! It has clam shell design and the finial appears to have been glued back on. Drawers are not dovetailed. A back leg appears to be reattached and the other legs are sort of loose from age. A master furniture cabinet maker would know how to tighten them without damaging such a rare miniature chest on chest or highboy perfect for an antique doll collection of salesman sample furniture collection, or a miniature collection.
