Beautiful antique Chinese robe on red, blue and cream-colored silk. Detailed embroidery throughout mostly done with gold thread. Beautiful embroidered dragons on front. 59” length x 26” width
I saw a similar robe online that said it is a Chinese opera costume, but I cannot verify this is an opera costume. However, they are very similar (e.g., dragons, heavily embroidered, pillowy part of robe). That robe is priced WAY more so wondering if I’m pricing this too low. :)
I had this hanging in my living room for years and it is stunning! The gold thread in the embroidery still glistens.
