The Jungle Book - Rudyard Kipling - School Edition - 1894 - Vintage - Rare

Old Vintage Book. Copyright is 1894, this book does has a symbol on it that was originally a representation of the Hindu symbol of good luck and well-being, the author Rudyard Kipling spent much of his early life in India, was familiar with this symbolism and incorporated it into the design of his books. This book was published 26 years before the symbol was used for what it was used for. This is one of the only original copies left, I recieved it without a dust cover but besides a few signs of wear, mainly because of age, and the library stamps on the back, the book is in excellent condition. It is one of thousands that I rescued from an old library that was being thrown away, so if you want to bundle any of the other books I have listed just let me know.
