Genuine Vintage Mongolian Sheepskin Sherpa Fur 95” Queen Size Blanket Handmade

EXTREMELY Heavy!
not to be used as a carpet or stepped on, vigorously pulled or harshly brushed-please treat exactly how you would an expensive fur coat
Genuine, all natural Sheepskin leather, some curly Sherpa stitched into the patchwork and then stitched onto a Cotton and wool canvas blanket
I do not know if it’s “Mongolian” but some areas look that way
There are stitching patches throughout the blanket that attach the sheepskin to the blanket. It is also attached around the hem
I have thoroughly checked this for rips holes tears-I have not found any-however there may be repairs that were made over the years-if so, they are very well hidden
Ultra super soft and plush
There are no stains on either side-though Sherpa may naturally discolor, yellow or darken over time
This is handmade, likely mid century and possibly Native American or Alaskan
It does have that vintage fur, musk like smell. It will need to be laid out for a day or so. I have animals and cannot risk it in my home
