**This is a light-duty design. 5/8" lightweight strap with plated, lightweight hardware. It is still quite durable but I do have heavy-duty versions available. I carry the Tradesman Series Cinch (heavy-duty version - 3/4" heavyweight strap with solid brass heavy hardware) daily to keep my work gloves handy. It works great and is extremely durable. If you need something sturdier, look for Tradesman (brown) and Drifter (black) series glove cinches in my listings.
