I believe you use the patterns to create muslin squares with little girl and boy stick figures. Then these squares are given to children to color. Then the squares get sewn together to make a quilt.
This would be awesome to have all the children in the family color their own square and give finished quilt to a family member like grandma as a gift. Or have all the students in a class color a square and give finished quilt to the teacher
