“I’m an over-the-armchair hanger,
I hold your mending things.”
“I’m a place to stick your needle,
whenever the telephone rings.”
“I hold your scissors, thread, and tape,
In my pockets at each end.”
“And whenever you do your hand-sewing,
you’ll find me, a very good friend.”
