Hand Carved Wooden Wall Plaque 10” Tall Two Eagles

Handsome wood carving wall plaque in very good preowned condition

Appears to be two eagle heads with stylized plumage that extends outward and furls around to create a frame around each of them

Or possibly tropical tree branches & fruit with two eagles perched inside

Hand carved—country of origin and artist unknown

Unusual wood has red streaks showing through open carved areas—could be box elder wood which has the unusual red streaks and can be used for carving

Flat back with 2 strips of wall protector and convex rounded outward front

Open areas behind front carving are rough hewn

Openings in plaque back can be used to hang from nail on wall

10” tall x 5 1/2” wide x 1 1/8” thick

Weighs 12.2 ounces

Could use a good wood treatment to restore some of its original richness and warmth
