This lively original hand carved and hand painted wood alebrije fish was created and signed by Zeny Fuentes and Reyna, the famous artists from Oaxaca Mexico. It has lovely colors and details.
It is about 9 1/2 inches long and 7 1/2 inches tall. See photos to view minor signs of wear. This sculpture is very beautiful by itself but alebrijes are considered a regional type of folk art that has become especially popular worldwide now.
I will handle and package it with great care. Please also unwrap it carefully. I will only do a return if you make a video as you open and unwrap it carefully, but still see some damage from shipping.
