One of a kind, Handmade Australian mahogany curved front jewelry box with Holly line and Barry string inlay on top, hand shaped curved apron, satinwood side panels and 4 felt lined divided drawers. Timber was carefully selected, book matched so that symmetrical grain pattern flows continuously across all show surfaces (see picture of top). Made using traditional techniques and hand tools by single craftsman (me). All surfaces are hand planed and finished with shellac "French polish" for extraordinary depth and clarity you can't get in manufactured furniture. Hand cut dovetail and Mortice and Tennon joinery. All drawers are lined with felt and divided to organize/accommodate jewelry of all sizes - earrings, rings, bracelets, necklaces etc. Custom, cast brass drawer pulls complement the subtle beauty and quality of this piece.
